THE HEROES(Classic Rock)
The Heroes 7-piece band features the talents of two amazing female singers backed by a guitarist, keyboardist, bassist, drummer, and saxophonist, all of whom sing as well! The 7 piece line up also offers flute, 2 saxes and various percussion including congas.

Their unbelievably extensive song list includes everything from big band swing and standards from the '30's and '40's to today's current hits, with oldies, Motown, classic rock, funk, '70's disco/dance, and rock and roll mixed in.

NITRO EXPRESS (Country)
Nitro Express have been playing the finest Country-Rock consistently in San Diego and all over Southern California, Arizona, and Nevada for over 10 years and have gained a huge reputation for their incredible sound, versatility, and being the hardest working band in the area.
When they play a Classic country song it is authentic...and when they play a Classic Rock song it is equally authentic to that style. But at the same time Nitro express always makes sure to pout their own stylistic stamp on every song they perform and make it their own. With 4 strong singers, superb harmonies, virtuoso musicianship, and a strong beat, they are one of the most entertaining acts on the West Coast.

BIG TIME OPERATOR (Big Band/Swing)
San Diego's own premier big band led by singer Warren Lovell. This ten-piece band has the class and excitement to make our concert memorable. 

Featured in the blockbuster movie "Pearl Harbor," they are a high energy swing band that plays traditional tunes from the heyday of swing as well as original music.  

Repeated winners of the San Diego Music Awards for Best Big Band, BTO covers swing classics from the past, updating with their style of jump, jive and swing. They also excel at playing classic band arrangements, latin arrangements, and impressive originals. They are true to the past and yet completely contemporary.

THE LEGENDS (Rock n' Roll Revue)
Southern California’s original and most authentic Motown and doo Wop revue with over 17 years in the San Diego Music scene. The Legends are a seven-piece show band including one female and six male entertainers.

The Legends have shared the stage with some very talented performers throughout the years including; The Coasters, The Drifters, The Shirelles, Martha Reeves & the Vandellas, showcasing at the San Diego Convention Center through Dick Clark Productions. They were also part of the “Legends of Rock n’ Roll” which took place at the Concord Pavilion featuring the amazing Wolfman Jack and Bobby Freeman.

The Legends consist of San Diego’s finest singers and musicians, including an original member of The Outsiders (“Time Won’t Let Me”, 1960 listed. In the Rock & roll Hall of fame in Cleveland Ohio.

JOE RATHBURN'S ISLAND (High Energy Island Music)
This musical group specializes in a style known as Trop-Rock; an amagam of rock, country, reggae, calypso, cajun, Hawaiian, Afro-cuban and folk. Typified by artists such as Jimmy Buffett, Bob Marley, and Harry Belafonte, this global approach to popular music makes for a band that appeals to all age groups and crosses cultural barriers, making them accessible to, and popular with the most mixed of audiences.

  Aside from the above mentioned artists, The ISLAND’s repertoire consists of Caribbean twists on the music of Paul Simon, James Taylor, The Beatles, Cat Stevens, Marvin Gaye, The Beach Boys, Credence Clearwater Revival, Van Morrison, Budy Holly, Louis Armstrong, The Police, and many, many others, making the ISLAND’s sound both familiar and fresh.

INCENDIO (Latin Jazz Fusion)
This acclaimed world-guitar-fusion trio has been profiled on ABC’s Los Angeles TV show Vista LA, KCAL-9’s On the Town and Telemundo’s entertainment magazine Buena Onda, and songs from their four albums have been spun on hundreds of public radio programs. Their dynamic shows has generated a buzz in the jazz and jamband communities.

The group’s principal players are bassist Liza (pronounced LEE-za) Carbé and guitarists Jean-Pierre "J.P." Durand and Jim Stubblefield. Durand and Stubblefield’s tightly interlocked guitar solos, almost like spiraling shredding contests with Carbé propelling the floor-pounding rhythms, all three rocking from the gut, leaves no doubt that this is a band that is, first and foremost, about performance. Crowd scenes reflect the thrilled surprise of audiences experiencing Incendio for the first time. It’s that immediate visceral response from listeners upon which Incendio has painstakingly built a reputation.

DELTA HEAT (Blues)
Delta Heat featuring Ken Schoppmeyer is a dance blues band specializing in blues, R&B, Boogie, Jazz and Swing. This band plays a sophisticated style you don’t hear very often these days. Ken Schoppmeyer is the very talented front man, singing soulful lyrics of various styles and is one of the countries premier harp players. You may pick up on the many influences of each band member including Little Walter, Sonny Boy Williamson, Sam Meyers, Anson Funderburgh, Hollywood Fats and many others.

THE CORVETTES (Doo-Wop/Motown)
A seven-piece rock and roll show band (five male, two female) celebrating the music of the first twenty years of rock and roll, from approximately 1954 to the early seventies. Orchestration includes drums, bass, guitar, and keyboards. The "frontline" singers belt out the tunes, complete with wigs, steps, and tight harmonies that made the music famous. 

Their act includes material from the "legendary" artists of the period, from "doo-wop" to rock to soul, from Sam Cooke, Elvis, and Dion to the Supremes, Aretha Franklin, and Tina Turner.

The members of THE CORVETTES have been entertaining San Diego area fans since 1988. The CORVETTES continue to be the only area band featuring streetcorner doo-wop sounds, while providing entertainment all ages will enjoy.

ROCKOLA(Rock & Roll)
Vintage guitars, vintage clothing, and three decades of the greatest Rock, Roll, Pop and Soul ever written have earned this San Diego based quartet no less than eight San Diego Music awards.

The band's vocal sound has been the key to their long and continuing success. Four-part harmonies are the order of the day as they shift from the rough-and-tumble exuberance of the British Invasion to the West Coast sun sounds of the "California Dreamin'" scene. 

Add some Motown/Soul and a helping of good ol’ American Rock & Roll, and a splendid time is guaranteed for all.

MARIACHI REAL DE SAN DIEGO (Mariachi)
Founded in 1978, Mariachi Real De San Diego has established itself as a leader in its genre under the direction of its founder and leader, Pedro Gonzalez. Professionalism, dedication, and loyalty to the century old traditions of the music and culture of Mexico continue to drive this group to new heights.

This Mariachi group has appeared in various movies including "Top Dog", starring Chuck Norris, "Deadly Desire" starring Jack Scalia, the TV mini series "Space" with James Garner, as well as tv commercials for the Del Mar Racing Season. Mariachi Real has also performed for the Republican National Convention, two Super Bowls, the World Series, the All-Star Game and countless festivals and special events for international corporations and dignitaries.

BENNY HOLLMAN’S BIG BAND EXPLOSION (Big Band Jazz)
The talents within the Benny Hollman Big Band are comprised of some of the finest musicians in Southern California. They have performed, backed and/or recorded with such great artists as Frankie Laine, Tony Bennett, Natalie Cole, The Temptations, Englebert Humperdink, The Four Tops, Johnny Mathis, Steve Allen, Bob Hope, Smokey Robinson and so many other great stars.

Today the band will feature a few of the outstanding soloists in its ranks. Gary Lefebvre will show his improvising prowess as he used to with the great Stan Kenton Orchestra. Frank LaMarca, noted for being one of the outstanding soloists in Southern California, with Carlos Vasquez on drums and Dwight Stone on bass, are always in demand for recording sessions. Scott Kyle, a San Diego favorite, will display the warmth and fire of the trombone. The lead trumpet responsibilities go to the man who makes it all sound so easy - Brad Steinwehe.

Rounding out the band and equally as talented in their sections are: Trumpet: Jack Houghton, Andrew Alstob, Derek CannonTrombone: Billy Hawkins, Roger WrightSax: Dick McGuane, Benny Hollman, Louie ValdezKeyboards: Robert Lanuza Featured vocalist, trombone & guitarist: Bobby Breen.
