Hey, friends and fans of the La Jolla Concerts By the Sea!
It’s time to get ready for our summer season. This year Sue Palmer and her Motel Swing Orchestra get things started with their world-renowned music on Sunday, July 2017 at 2pm. Don’t be somewhere else as Sue brings her distinctive show to get our audience hoppin’ and boppin’ to her boogie woogie swing stylings.
As always, the location is Ellen Browning Scripps Park at beautiful La Jolla Cove. Our shows are always FREE to attend and family-friendly. Our bands start promptly at 2pm and end at 4pm.
Though free to you, our concerts do cost money to present, so we are ever-grateful to our great companies and members of the general public who buy food, make donations and sponsor concerts to make sure that this long-beloved La Jolla tradition goes on delighting audiences every summer.
And, speaking of our tasty food, the good folks at Bullseye Kettle Corn are back to make sure we have hot dogs, fresh lemonade, and of course, their great popcorn we all love. You can also enjoy sodas, chips, candy and Haagen Dazs ice cream bars & fruit popsicles. Buying our concessions are a great way to take care of your family’s appetite and support the concerts!
